Here's a Hanukkah diorama I'm working on. I need some blue/silver wide ribbon and some charms to wrap the container. The inside fluff is silver garland with white ribbons, pulls it together. I do need to find some thinner/finer skewers, adding to the list.

I worked on Christmas/Holiday cards for a stamping workshop next Sunday. Had to come up with 8 cards, it only took me 6 hrs to do them (rolling eyes). I still need to get my cookie tin decorated and the canisters finished. I can not muster any motivation for these canisters, they're just not my style and its making me uncomfortable.

Another project

Finally got around to digging up some contact sheet prints to use in the little frames by Tim Holtz. This is far as I gotten, I'm not in the mood for digging around for little letters so those will wait until later. The red loopy on in the frame on the right is red velvet fuzzies from 7gypsies. Its a sheet of red velvet that sticks to dried/rub-on glue lines or you can buy the glue sheets from 7gypsies. It is really cool.

The ribbons are velvet by Maya Road, I'm loving the new stuff. I also picked up some plastic ribbons with hearts and something else I can't remember.

Feeling better

Finally feeling better and getting busy.

Here's a tile that is a "do not do this" sample. You can see the mess ups and missing spots on the photo. I'll be demoing this project and few more items at the Fall Fest Nov. 3 at WSD. If you're interested in learning how to do these come on down and visit me.

When I was done playing with the tiles, I made a diorama. This one is going to be Christmas themed, this is far as I got before flaking out. I need to find some bottom filler instead of spanish moss, maybe some snow or garland.

Someone wants me to do a Hanukkah theme diorama, so I have to get my Judaism symbols pulled together. Gotta love Quickutz.

Still feeling yucky

I'm tired of being sick and tired. just had to say that.

I've been working on the fall festival stuff - canisters, coasters, cookie box and photo frames. I thinks thats all that I'm responsible for(?). The photo tiles were easy, the canisters are busting my butt. I'm drawing a blank on what to do to purty them up.

Back to work.

Cards

I hand drew and cut out the bird, inked the edges of the card and stuck some Scenic Route chipboard pieces on it. [fixed misspelling]

The 'you smile' card is made with the new American Crafts Rub-ons and a few more Scenic Route chipboard.

Still sick

I'm down for the count and can't shake this bug. I've been laying on the bed since Monday and feeling horrible. I have a lot of stuff to do around the house and projects to complete by this weekend. I need some energy and good health.

I did make 2 cards today.

Sick Oh MY!

Oye, I have had a terrible head cold the last few days. Henry brought it home from school lastweek and shared it with all of us.

The boys and I have been up visiting with joe's relates the last week so I've haven't updated or done any scrapbooking. Joe rode in his 5th or 6th Saturn Century this weekend with his brother and dad. Today they did the Horse Farm 100 rally, not sure how many miles they did but they brought home Zaxby chicken & fries for lunch.

A new week

My class went very well on Saturday, 11 people and 3.5 hrs later I finally got to run to the loo.

Here's a LO I did of Nico the glue monster.
I did 12 cards yesterday and put them up on Etsy this morning. Please take a gander at my Etsy store.. OhMyGosh! I forgot how totally cool Twinkling H2Os are, I did a pumpkin card and pulled out the small box of H2Os I have. I'm telling you, use them if you got them. I need to get a bunch more colors, I've fallen in all over again. Here's a card I'm working on right now with h20s. oh so pretty.

Good thing I did a bunch of cards yesterday, someone bought 6 cards over night.

I did do something

I made this for a DT project.

Its a 12x12 (inside measurements) paper frame that I stuck toys to the edge/ledge. The colours are off in the picture, very dark and rainy outside and I didn't turn on a light when I snapped the pic.

Here's another class/project I'm working on. 7 g portfolio & basic grey Mellow (again).
Inside of the portfolio is a handstitched booklet and pockets.
Here's the inside front page of "10 reasons to smile" book that I am teaching tomorrow. I love the diecut felt letters using QK dies, works great w/ fun foam too.

Let's get busy

This week has been busy, H. is busting nuts at school and can't keep out of trouble. Seven new kids started on Monday and H is not getting the attention from the teachers that he is use to. As of today, Friday, I have been in 2 conferences w/ the teachers this week!

I have a class tomorrow at the Doodle -1o Reasons to Smile. It's filled up and then some. I also a card class next week and then another mini album at the end of the month. I'm also working the Spooktacular Crop next weekend. I haven't really had any down time to make stuff for meself for 2 weeks now.

Hey Jackie, should have the "Road Trip" book done by this weekend. And Linda, have you worked on yours?

I have one more kit left, I think I'll put it up on Etsy.

It Tuesday already!

Okay, where did Monday go? Seriously i can not remember doing monday.

Today I had a dentist appt. to fix my front tooth that I chipped when I was 12 years old. I finally had to have a crown made along with the #9 tooth. The #8 tooth had been bonded for all these years. So my 2 front teeth are capped and looked so nice. I keep glancing in a mirror to admire my new teeth.
