2 from a latenighter

I finally did these 2 pictures from last year. There was a third picture but I couldn't find it. So that will be another page with other pictures that haven't been printed yet.

Another layout using up leftover pictures. I used a pattern cut-out as a mask, the white paint is not so bold in real life.
It's pearl dabber - silver white and then I outlined the negative space with a thin black line.

3 more

A few more pages from the last few days. I noticed the photos are all of H, so off to work on some nico pages.

I painted the background using a mask & Dabber.

Now some cards

I haven't felt like making cards in a LOOONNGG time. After making 8 pages over the last day I have all these scraps of paper & embellishments piled on my desk.

Family Fun

Holiday pix can be found over there <======= the yard.

A few more...

A picture that has been floating around my desk for a year.
Some stickles, a ticket stub and a few mismatched letters. I always seem to run out of 'E's & 'N's.
I used a mask that created polka-dots, than added a swipe of blue dabber across the dots.

A pocket page for last year's Valentine's cards. I actually used my sewing machine, ya. I used a plastic sheet, Doodlebug Flocked paper, Quickutz owl & alphas and tulle. This page came out exactly how I envisioned.
Cute little pink flocked owl.

Back in action

I've peeled my butt off the couch and got busy. So far I've done 8 layouts the last 2 days! I feel a few more coming on tonight & tomorrow, maybe I will make my resolution of 200 pages for this year. Here's a few today, check back tomorrow for a few more.

A gift I made for Jen, her fave holiday is Halloween. I will be doing a altered canvas class in February - Valentine's/Love theme. I also do commissioned work [wink].

Getting there

I'm feeling better but my nose is raw & the post-nasal drip is really upsetting my tummy.

I have to take some pictures of the pages I have done the last week. I'm behind on my page quota by 35, I need to get busy in the next few days. H will be out of school next week and then all the holiday stuff so that means I have to do 35 pages in the next 3 days!

Friday I have an appointment for wrist braces - left & right. I went to the dr. yesterday and my wrists are baaaddd. Off to Westcoast braces for a fitting & consultation and Rx for Mobic.

A class I'm teaching in January, a hands-on technique class.
Close-up of the altered canvas I made for my secret santa gift. Lots of paint, gloss medium & glue.

Scarredy Squirrel to the rescue

H's favourite book this week was 'Scaredy Squirrel' by Melanie Watts. He had grandma put a rescue pack together just like squirrel -parachute, band-aids, calamine lotion, hard-hat, binoculars & anchovies to distract the sharks.

Scaredy squirrel getting into trouble. He said he was climbing back into his tree...sure buddy now get down.

The family of the future...everyone IMs each other instead of just talking to each other across the table.
Not really we were all doing doing work while waiting for dinner.

Gus was glued to the boys, waiting for dropped food. Look at him staring down the cinnamon toast.
Aunt Cissy gave the boys gingerbread men to decorate. H added brains to his man.
Nico said 'delish' and licked the frosting off his man.

Thursday

I did 2 pages yesterday, volunteered to work at the school's Gingerbread store (cheap goodies for the kids to buy) most of today and now Nico comes down with the flu or something - fever major fever, soreness, not so cranky, just wants water, no food sickness.

I hope I escape this crude, I'm sure joe & H will be next.

Back in town

I haven't worked on any projects/layouts since getting back home, household stuff keeps getting in the way. I finally made it to the food store today- ouch $200 later the pantry is fully stocked. Hopefully later today I'll get to play with paper & glue.
