Thursday already

Where did the week go? oh yea still spend a few days recovering from the bug that hit the house.

Finally peeled my a$$ out of bed and did some pages, here is one of nico riding his "hot wheel".

I'm feeling much better

Finally did something with this 5x7 pic of Darth Nic, it was a challenge on Scrapbooks.com - N O P. Use a noun, opposite colours & use a punch. Ugh purple is not my colour, I have about 4 sheets total of purple in my stash. I wanted to use purple letters but I didn't even have any, so I created a mask with QK moxie diecuts & painted over them. I'm happy with the page.

Another challenge - cardboard. I used cardboard for the QK letters (moxie again) and photo corners. Simple & fast page using up old old stash products.

Sicko

Most of us are feeling better today, I wanted a nice picture of joe since he is 40. This is the lovely picture, thanks boys.
Cute pics of nico being creative. He didn't want to get hurt so he strapped a pillow to his bum just like Pingu. He was too cute out there shaking his b00tee. K & Co. Citronella paper line, my latest favourite paperline.
Love those quickutz penguins, perfect for this page. I used a Fancy Pants Journal page to use as the title box.
Henry and his Citizen of the Month grin, he was so excited to use the gift cert. for a free meal at the Red Elephant. He ate the whole yummy pizza. Misc. scraps of papers & stickers, star diecut is by Creative Imaginations.

Beach Memory Jar filled with St. Augustine sand, pictures of the boys and seaweed too. All 7 gypsies items - rub-ons, tags, stamps.

Today

A page about H's birthday gift from bil/sil/baby timmy. He was so excited to open up th box & pull out the Lincoln Logs. The pictures are even blurry from him moving around excitedly.

a few from the weekend & a snake!

Henry spotted this climbing up a tree out in the front, we were in side the house during a downpour. The tree is about 20 feet from the window, ol' eagle eye henry was excited to see a snake climb a tree. The snake might have been close to 30ish inches, I wasn't getting enough to measure. So 20 feet away this sucker was spotted on the tree, big enough for me.
A page using Cosmo Cricket papers & stickers, I stamped a border using a Prima screening stamp with VersaMark ink.
A page with my mom's junior year picture, hard to work with. I have about 15 pictures of my mom so I do not want to "ruin" them by screwing up a page. Loving those cheesy Prima fabric flowers.

Catching up

Been busy this week, I guess having no email connection has helped me stay on task. Gmail & Yahoo have been weird the last few weeks, no emails or spam. Also the sites are not loading correctly on my computer, no idea what is going on.

A few pages for a friend, used items from my stash - stamps, ink, stickers.


A page for challenges - colours of your country flag - red/white/blue & "use your supplies" - KI Memories lace paper, Creative Imaginations "Red Banner" paper, Thickers letters. I added some red & white cardstock behind some stars for attention.



I'm in a "ugly paper swap" and these are the 2 pattern papers I received. Not bad at all, at least they are not pinks or purples.
