Super bowl stash

After working the sale I got to shop the racks and this is what I got - lots of quickutz, about 2.5 inches of papers (like i need more pattern paper...can.not.resist.), acrylic stamps by basic grey, autumn leaves & gel.a.tins. Lots of goodies that I have already played with this evening.


Jen & I out shopping for our knitting supplies - the hardest decision was which yarn to buy.

Tasty

Retook the picture with the "wow" sticker and the good camera.

Did a page this morning, after taking a 3 days hiatus. It's not the best photo, I used the cheap camera that washes out colours. I just reached into my pattern paper bin and pulled out this paper packet of Elsie papers. I just noticed the "wow" 3d embellishment is missing by my picture. I forgot to glue it down before moving the page to take a picture.

Picking product

I had to run over to St. Pete today and pick some product for March's classes. I totally forgot to do that Saturday. Three hours later Nico and I were heading back to Tampa to get Henry from school. I can only hope to work on something tonight, the boys are being very good and playing well with each other.

Sunday

I taught a class to 15 women yesterday at the doodle, five hours later I was back at home crashed in bed. I used up all my brain-power for the week. Now I'm cleaning & putting away my stamps & misc. items that they used in class. I'm trying to work up some creative juices to scrap the photos that are sitting here staring at me.

the catwalk...

I post layouts sporadically over at Scrap in Style TV, this week I made the Catwalk. What that means I.have.no.idea. but they're congratulating me. It's the Pieces of Me page.

uh oh

I fell off the wagon this morning [wink]. I got sidetracked by laundry, making beds, reading to nico and other household duties. The house still looks like a tornado (or hornado as H has been saying) went through it. I just need to dig out the snow shovel but what is the point of shoveling during a storm.

Tomorrow Jen & I are going to be croppers at the doodle friday night crop. I'll just sit around, talk & not be productive. Then Sat. I have the "little book of Techniques" class, so I need to prep for that friday night.

Lastnight, the boys were in the shower, they are chattering and giggling, Joe walks in and says "is he singing Barack Obama?" I listen for a bit...yup, Nico is singing away in the shower.. "barack obama is my president, yes he is, he is the president" over and over. It was soooo cute! I wish I recorded it. And then this afternoon the boys were fighting over who's president he belongs to = he's my president, h - no he's mine!, nico - noooo he is my president! h- no he's not! Nico= shut up henry!

The story of BOOM

I'm waking up each morning and sitting right down at my desk to work. So far I've been able to do 2 pages a day.

12x12 page =The story of BOOM. I put a pocket on the back of the page to hold journal tags, cut some zig-zags & outline them.

Outside my front door - 34deg but it wos not that cold feeling - the humidity is down to 35%.

Busy this morning

H decided he wanted to be a fish, so he dug out some goggles & his plushies. Of course, I had to take a picture of mr. pack-rat. He loaded up a basket full of plushies, swim gear & an axe.

Fancy Pants paper, some paper from a J's pack (colorbok), K & Co. chipboard sticker (fish) - mixed up products lines are the best sometimes.

Lots of 'so last year' products from my stash - those doodlebug letter rub-ons from 2004 (pricetag).

Last night scraps

After anyone settled down last night, I got a bug to scrap. I printed up some pictures and got busy. I think the urge was from these cute papers & elements "Friendly Forest" that I picked up at Mike's.
Close up of the 3-d stickers & a printed tag, if I remember correctly the image printed on the tag was a bunny that I hide with the sticker.
The foil 12x12 paper, felt flower from my stash, a brad & chipboard from the 'forest'.
A page about Henry the 'Scaredy Squirrel', the squirrel elements from "FF" is perfect for these pictures/story.
The big smiling squirrel is from the cover of the book, I took a photo & printed it. copyright infringement but I'm not selling this page nor publishing it in a magazine for profit. I didn't have enough letters from one sticker sheet so I mixed them up.
Some Stickles added to the 'H', really can't tell from the photo.

Not so bad

Picture from last night, not so bad looking. He was eating or really wearing tomato soup.

This morning, its getting darker and big purple bump is showing up. I need to get a better picture today. He was sitting on the floor making a birthday list of all his friends. cutiepie.

Hematoma baby

Nico's new friend, the egg. The swelling was immediate and about 3/4inch high, IT WAS HUGE.

The nurse drew a smiley face on the band-aid.

Finally getting his shrimp dinner.
Eating some dairy queen chocolate vanilla twist, one of his favourite treats.
He picked out a new Lego set - Power Miners, a very cool set.

Fun Filled Friday...NOT

Add another notch to our ER belt...ah the life of boys. Nico took a header in a parking lot, a HUGE egg appeared in seconds so off to the ER clinic up the street. Two hours later we were at fish n chips for shrimp that nico kept asking for and then a trip a Dairy Queen.

Horrible pictures tomorrow, I need a xanax.

Oye it's thursday

ACK! I'm a few days behind on EVerything - laundry, vacuuming, decluttering that dang counter, uploading 365 pix and scrapping. At least I'm staying on top of H and his homework, that boy goofs off and thinks its funny. Right now his top books are: Walter the farting dog goes on a cruise & Lego Building a Bridge. I need to find more Lego themed books, both boys enjoy looking through them & H will actually sit down to read with me.

Off to find the cameras and download to the computer.

No scrappin' today

I literally laid in bed today, did nothing but pick up H from school and cook dinner. Now i'm back in bed, hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

Last Night

I did two pages before joe & the boys came back home.


This page turned out completely different than I expected, I got stuck half way through it and pushed my way through it. I could not find any sticker/diecut/embellishement that I wanted to use. So I glued down some felt stars and hoped for the best.

One word

My word - connect. I was going for communicate, but it is a long word so I cut it short. I'm not doing the one-word aim for the year project, I'm making a series of canvases for different areas of my house. Areas that need attention or thought - kitchen word might be menu, living room definitely declutter or simplify, boys room might be 'choices', 'read' or 'listen' and other words I'm thinking about: attitude, save, complete, do, guide, homemade.


It's not the best picture, its dark and overcast this morning. Off to clean my space, vacuum & do the dishes..oh meh the laundry.

JUST WAKING UP

Worked an all day crop yesterday, so I didn't day 10-11 pics up yet. I need to dig out my camera from my scrapbag and upload.

Another point

I finished another page last night, I wanted to work on one more page but Nico kept calling for me to go to bed. He wants all the lights off in the house when he's ready for bed. As soon as he is asleep, about 3 mins, we turn the lights & tv back on.

I love the look of these sticker letters, i got them in a kit about 2 years ago. I think they're by Webster Paper Co.

Some mess

365 day 7

This is a typical afternoon in the car - H giving me grief about something and nico just sitting there waiting to interject with a scream or giggle.

Cool thing the camera can do - 4 in 1 picture. I just started clicking on buttons and found some other neat gimmicks to play with.

I printed up a bunch of photos, so tomorrow I need to sit down and do a few pages.

Got around to messing with the cameras

Here's a few pictures, if you're interested in more look over there in the Yard. <---- Meself lumbering back to the top of the cliff, the water caused asand ridge along the beach. A good 5 foot drop in places and the boys liked to roll down it.
Nico enjoying the surf for a few minutes the first day. The water is amazingly beautiful, turquoise/teal with a baby blue sky.
