H has been coming up with some crazies outfits lately, he wore this to school today. Striped arms & polka-dot leg warmers tucked into his socks.
Nico walks in and says he's hot, giving me the thumbs up that he's cool now. At least we won't have to fight getting that shirt over his giant noggin...quite like sputnik.
A small book for my bil/sil. It's about our trip to WDW not-so-scary halloween party. Just a couple of pages. A 4x6 photo holder. The placecards I made for the Thanksgiving table.
H must of had a thanksgiving 'thing' at school, I didn't know his class was doing something so no pictures!
I asked him was everyone a chief he said only he was the chief indian. Yes his pants are tucked into his socks, he left the house in the morning dressed this way along with the leg/arm warmers. I finished my 'secret santa' gift. I can't show it until after Dec. 7th. I had lots of fun making & designing it.
We headed out to the park this brisk cool morning. It started off well with nice tantrum from H that we ignored other than snapshot.
He gave up the fit and chased after us. Nico wanted nothing to do with pictures...his M.O. hand in face. I called out smile for grandma and he turns on this big cheesy grin. Joe & H at the top of the tower, nico spent his time running up and down the stairs about 20 times. Tried to get a picture of us all. After we got home I locked meself in my room and made something.
Nico drew a picture of himself as Indian Jones. Took a pic of it before he erased it because the hat was wrong. Place card using Jolly dies & stamp, also a little stickles for good measure. I had to do something with the new Quickutz owls, so i just made them up and stuck to a paper. The 2x2 size turned into a card, for what I do not know. A little project I'm waiting on to dry. I loved the creative cafe project from last week at the Doodle so I had to make my own. All I need is the base (not the blue bucket) and its finish. Lots of buttons, pins & felt shapes.
I picked up these mini wreaths a few years ago on clearance at Target, took me all of 10 mins to make a gift.
A Basic Grey calendar kit, don't look grandma! These little kits were very popular at the MS Crop. It took me roughly 3 hrs to complete, i had to change mine up a bit to fit different size photos.
Did a page tonight, I'm finally working again. I have found if I do not do a page/card/project every day I fall off the wagon and can't get busy again without a big push. This picture is horrible, as soon as I stepped outside the wind picked up and the sun went away. I'll try again tomorrow. Its a holiday centerpiece using a wine bottle, twigs & some christmas 'stuff'. KI Memories plastic sheet cut into ornaments using the Jolly die.
I made 2 items last night using the new QK Jolly set, this set is very cute and handy. I really like the scroll frame and the alphabet.
A card using Scenic Route papers, I didn't have gold paper so used a gold Sharpie paint pen to cover the outline scroll and drew a border around the card.
Some pictures from christmas last year, the bah humbug is the font in the set. Nico was mad that I wouldn't let him throw his "snappers" in the house, those white nuggets that make a snap sound when busted open. I added a tiny bit of Stickles to highlight the scrolls on the paper.
I finally finished putting away my scrap paraphernalia from last weekend. I also had to buy a new Revolution, the other rev. gears were stripped and QK wouldn't warranty it since its over a year old and already had warranty work on the gears. Good thing the doodle is running an awesome sale - $59 for the Rev & long platform. Now I can get busy making the store samples with the Jolly set that was giving to me by the wonderful Doodle.
Did this page before I left town. I cut out the stars, did a few quick stars with a black pen & filled in with the white sharpie. Then I popped up the title letters and layered some Stickles on top. First page at the crop, wasn't in the groove yet. It's missing something but what...
I rubbed a black ink pad on the page, stamped the gears with the same black ink. Threw on a few Sassafras Lass stickers, the label sticker for journaling and its done.
Simple and quick page. Scrap of Hambly transparency across the page, some tickets to journal on and a chipboard fishy from the crop. The boys looking cute. More Sassafras Lass, I cut out some clouds and stuff, dug out some CI sticker labels with quotes, painted down the side for a border and a small journal heart.
