Accountable Kids

I started this program with Henry a few months back. Its a chore chart/behavior chart that Henry is primarily responsible for. As he works through his daily items (brush teeth, breakfast, school, lunch, quiet time, etc) he flips them over. He can earn up to 3 tickets a day which is turned in for a "Bonus Buck". He can lose a tickets too and knows why he lost his ticket without whining or crying. Immediate consequences have helped with the whines/fighting/crap all over the place.

I was able to pick up Chart for Nico this weekend at the MS Crop. He was beyond happy to get his own chore chart & tickets. He chose coral puffy letters & helped to put it together.

I also picked up a "cards & ticket" hanger, it holds extra cards & tickets so they are up above the charts.

One of the fall festival projects - crappy picture. Canvas placemat, crackle paint, Glimmer Mist, Stickles, Quickutz diecuts, stamps, Dabbers, Distressing Inks - very messy & lots of fun.
Picture box with lots of doo-dads.

Den boys

Had a den meeting last night with 6 boys who were eager to get crafty. I started a bead totem for the boys to earn beads for coming to den & pack meetings, bringing their tiger book & wearing their specified uniform (shirt, necker, slide, belt & patches).

Each boy designed his own lead and is responsible for adding his beads after the meetings.

I also put together a 'den doodle' using what else...scrapbook goodies. Quickutz letters, MM paints, Bazzill cardstock & ribbon.

The last week

Den meeting at a local park, we learned about marbles & how to play.
Nico decided they needed a hopscotch so he drew out some shapes & numbers up to 12.

The closing ceremony of the den meeting .... scout pledge & salute.

Saturday night was Scout night with the Tampa Bay Lightening..cheap tickets for $20 included a hot dog, a soft drink & a cool scout patch.

Henry decided the floor space under the chair was the best spot to sit. He did not like the noise & the height at first. After 30mins or so he settled down and asked for cotton candy.
Only picture of me from the game.
The cool patch.

My little Monsters

This boy can not be serious for a second.

A card made with leftover scraps from Fancy Pants Rough & Tumble papers. Love those cute...yea cute thunderbolts & clouds.
One page using some transparencies & ribbon.
A chipboard book made by Ziage, inked the white pages with Distress colours & covered the plain chipboard with papers from Sassafras Lass Monstrosity line.

I'm so glad I picked up the 7 Gypsies "Disclaimer" stamp set, lots & lots of disclaimers.

Another chipboard book this time by Maya Road - Large Gear book. All Sassafras Lass papers, stickers & diecuts.
I painted the chipboard shapes with paint and inked the edges with black cateye ink.
