SOme cards I putting up on Etsy in a bit. I think I've made 30 cards in the last few days.

I haven't felt like making cards in a LOOONNGG time. After making 8 pages over the last day I have all these scraps of paper & embellishments piled on my desk.

One little card from scraps of ribbons & some DSD papers. Those birds are so much fun to play with.

Dream Street Papers & M2R

I got my Moments to Remember kit on Friday, I didn't have any idea what was inside. I was so happy to see Dream Street Papers & some felt ribbons.

Here's 2 layouts & a card that I did this weekend. It really didn't take me the whole weekend to make them but housework kept getting in the way.

I used Diamond Glase on the 'HI' and on the flower center. I add some brads to the right side but the balance is off, gotta fix. I'm also redoing the journaling, its all wonky. I'm not sure what I want to say so I just made a big journaling box with filler, now I just need to trim it down succinctly.


I love this picture of H and his party hat. That cool felt flower ribbon is the perfect width and has adhesive on the back too. I had a horrible time with the super wide adhesive ribbon, kept sticking to itself.

Close-up of the journaling and the birdie, I added some stickles & diamond glaze to its wing. I also rubbed some Stickles onto the blue spots behind the bazzill cardstock.

Very simple card made from some scraps, this paper is really nice to work with, heavyweight and double sided. It also cuts very well ie no snags, tears, linting, core breaking through.

Finally a card, I have lost my card making mojo. I need to come up with 2 Easter cards for a class this weekend. I have been "working" on cards for 2 weeks and I can not create a single card I am happy with. This card is stamped with an Autumn Leaves set and paint. I need to find something for the flower center, probably a button with some glitter.
This is the March class -(still in progress) My Sentiments Exactly card organizer. I'm fairly happy with it, its been sitting on my desk for atleast a week. I wasn't happy with any of the embellishments that I picked for the title. So I dug out the Quickutz -the trusty scallop circles and some alphabets. The birdies were stuck there just for entertainment, I might use them some where in the box. You can't see the glittery dots on the flourish.

Valentine's cards

I made some cards with old SEI Twitterpatter paper for 2006. Finally found a use for it, the designs work very well for cards.

Crazy days

The last few days have been filled with dr. appts, H had a hearing test at St. Joe's on Monday (he has fluid in his ears) and then I had my regular gp monthly appt. for allergies & meds. Today was a down day I did a bunch of cards for teacher gifts. The first one is one of my faves.

The last four are all done with American Crafts Rub-ons. Just white cardstock & black rub-ons and then added some sentiments on scraps.

Christmas card

I finally did our card this morning and best thing its all done with scraps of papers. I made it a mission to complete this card without having to go out and buy some holiday something. I wanted to stamp the greeting but I told meself "self you have all this stuff just find something!" I listened and went through my quickutz and picked a few to try out. I settled on Bright (from Merry & Bright set) and the trees from the set. I made it into a tent fold card and will put a family pic on the inside and some more words. The cards is not crooked it just scanned in that way.

Is this thing working?

I wasn't able to get logged in yesterday, dang tooting zeus' hair.

Well, not much was happening yesterday anyways. I have been busy making my doodle party project and I'm 87% done. I've also been using up scraps of paper and pattern papers that I know I will not use in layouts to make lots of cards. So far I've made 22 cards in the last 24 hrs. Here's a preview.


My favourite stamp of late is the cute little owl from Rubber Soul.

Cards

I hand drew and cut out the bird, inked the edges of the card and stuck some Scenic Route chipboard pieces on it. [fixed misspelling]

The 'you smile' card is made with the new American Crafts Rub-ons and a few more Scenic Route chipboard.

Cards everywhere

I haven't started a layout in the last few days, I have all these scraps that are needing new homes on cards. Who would have thought a few buttons, some glitter and a stamped image would make a nice simple card.

Today I have to do a layout, I have a challenge to post so I better get busy soon. Off to de-clutter, all my ribbon jars are out and the bookshelf is overflowing with misc. stuff that needs to be put back in their assigned homes.

Rain, Rain, Rain

I did a few Halloween cards today. Some reason I'm into making cute Halloweenie cards. Love that jack-0-lantern sticker with all the glitter.

Nothing going on

I haven't gotten around to do much the last 24 hours other than declutter. I did a few cards and put them up on Etsy.

I found this cute little owl at the store, he so cute and one of the 7 gypsies office stamp w/ the different sayings works perfect with him.

I have 2 sets of pix ready for layouts, so hopefully tonight I will be able to get them together.

I've been having fun making cards from my scraps, I've been completing about 4 a day. This is inside the Halloween card, just QK Moxie classic size. This font is a bargain at $99 and comes with numbers.

Another day, Another no dollar

I only completed 3 cards today but I did make veggie enchiladas for dinner and washed & dried 3 loads of laundry. H wears uniforms to school and then changes into play clothes when he gets home, he can't wait to get his unis off. Between the 2 boys, they produce enough dirty laundry in one day to clothe a small village.

The pictures are cr@ppy, the dRebel just died and I can't find the extra battery.
These are all done with scraps of papers, rub-ons and colours that are not "me". Like hot pink, mint, teal and red. You really can not see the small details: glitter, bling, watercolours and doodling in grey.
